 DYNATEK™ Offers "Auto-Pilot" for Its Trucks & Rail Car Loading Systems 

North Prairie, WI:  Safety loading speed, load consistency and cleanliness are things every plant wants to optimize in their loadout area.  With that in mind, DYNATEK has released a new control package for its articulating and shuttle loading systems that contributes to the optimization process by largely automating loading conveyor positioning and material flow for truck or railcar loading applications - an "auto-pilot" of sorts. 

Automating a DYNATEK loading systems involves adding encoded drive motors and PLC functionality in the control panel.  Programming is then provided to control the conveyor positioning motors, conveyor start / stop, load spout hoist motor and material supply to the loader. 

Operationally, in order to accommodate truck and rail car positioning variances, a control pendant is used to position the loader for “load start”.  Once in position, a button on the pendant or HMI command is used to start the automated portion of the loading process.  All loader movement and conveyor operation is controlled by a PLC program.  Once loading has been completed, the loading conveyor is programmed to automatically move to a safe “Home” or “Park” position to wait for the next load-out requirement.
